As previously announced, the platform Netflix premiered today the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Q Hayashida, Dorohedoro, in its original language and with subtitles in Spanish.

For his part, Hayashida published the manga in three different magazines between 2000 and 2018. The publisher Shogakukan compiled the work in a total of 23 volumes. Recently, a special 14-page chapter was published 17 months after the end of the original manga. The manga inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation released in January 2020 and produced by the studios. MAPPA. The first episode of the series of six OVAs that will be included in the special edition of the second compilation Blu-ray was released temporarily and free on April 14.

Synopsis of Dorohedoro

In a city so depressing that it is known as “the hole,” a clan of sorcerers has been kidnapping people from the streets to use them as guinea pigs in egregious “experiments” of black magic.

Meanwhile, in a dark alley, Nikaido encounters Caiman, a reptile-headed man and a serious case of amnesia. To undo their spell, they must hunt down and kill the sorcerers in the city, hoping that they will eventually kill the right one.

But when the main sorcerer finds out that a lizard man is killing his people, he sends a gang of “cleaners” to the city, which triggers a war between two worlds, between two societies …
