Blue Lock Synopsis
The story begins with the elimination of the Japan National Team from the 2018 FIFA Soccer World Cup, prompting the Japan Soccer Union to start a training program to prepare a team of high school students to participate in the 2022 World Cup. Isagi Yoichi, a forward, receives an invitation to join this program shortly after his team loses an opportunity to participate in the Nationals, because he passed the ball to his less skillful teammate, who obviously missed the shot, which denoted Isagi's cowardice in not daring to finish the play by himself.
His coach will be Ego Jinpachi, who intends to put an end to the idea of “Japan weak in soccer” by applying a radical new training regime: isolate 300 forward youths in a prison-like institution called “Blue Lock,” and subdue them. to a rigorous training that will create "the greatest, most talented and selfish striker in the world".
