About eight years ago, the Japanese company Santen Pharmaceutical had created a line of medicated eye drops with the characters of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Last Monday, the company returned to the track with a new eye drops series, always focused on the brand of Hideaki Anno.

Evangelion themed eye drops were presented through the trailer visible at the bottom of the article, in which the character of Misato is played by the voice actress Kotono Mitsuishi. The product is available in four variants, depending on your favorite character among Shinji, Asuka, Rei or Kaworu.

Still on the subject of merchandising, the Schick Hydro company has signed a collaboration with Neon Genesis Evangelion, announcing three new razors based on Shinji, Asuka, and the NERV organization. The products were marketed in Japan last month, exclusively in specific selected stores.

These tie-in items were made to commemorate the release of the brand's fourth and final film, Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon A Time, whose release - scheduled for June 27 - has been postponed to a later date due to the spread of Coronavirus.

The pre-orders for the first appliance inspired by the animated series of Neon Genesis Evangelon are open. Neon Genesis Evangelion has recently seen a smartphone-themed collaboration with the OPPO Digital company.
