On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Yuki Midorikawa, Natsume Yuujinchouit was announced that the Blu-ray / DVD version of the animation project Natsume Yuujinchou: Ishi Okoshi to Ayashiki Raihousha has dated its release in Japan next May 26th. The premiere on international sales platforms is also expected at this time.
The project consisted of two episodes entitled “Ishi Okoshi” and “Ayashiki Raihousha”, which were shown on January 16 at Shinjuku Forest 9 in Tokyo. Natsume Yuujinchou Synopsis: Ishi Okoshi on Ayashiki Raihousha
The project will consist of two stories: “Ishi Okoshi” and “Ayashiki Raihousha”. In “Ishi Okoshi” Natsume meets a little youkai named Mitsumi in a forest. Mitsumi’s task is to awaken the divine youkai “Iwatetsu” from his deep sleep. However, Mitsumi weighs heavily on Natsume’s thoughts and sets out to help him with his homework.
In “Ayashiki Raihousha” a mysterious visitor appears in front of Tanuma. This mysterious guy visits Tanuma almost every day, talks to him a little and then leaves. Natsume, who has already realized that the visitor is a youkai, is worried about Tanuma, but Tanuma enjoys the time he spends with the youkai. Although the youkai does not attempt to harm him, Tanuma’s health begins to fail.
