The editorial seal Dengeki Bunko from Kadokawa announced that light novels will be written by Bokuto One and illustrated by Ruria Miyuki, Nanatsu no Maken ga Shihai Suru (Rule of the Seven Magic Blades), will have an anime adaptation. The press release did not reveal any production details or a planned release date.
The light novels began to be published through the publisher’s label Dengeki Bunko from the publisher Kadokawa in September 2018. The publisher published the seventh volume on June 10, followed by the eighth volume on September 10 in Japan. The work also inspired a manga adaptation by the hand of Sake esunowhich is published in the magazine Monthly shounen ace since May 2019.

Nanatsu no Maken ga Shihai Suru explores the intertwined fates of two warriors as they discover the dark truths that lurk within the walls of the academy.
