One of Shueisha’s most successful series is nearing completion with the release of the next chapter, but this is just one of the many works that will greet us this year. In the next month My hero academy it will follow the same path that Dr. Stone strikes today.
A leak from Weekly Shonen Jump confirmed the closure of Dr. Stone. After about four years of serialization 26 volumes and a total of 232 chapters, and over 12 million copies in circulation, the story of Inagaki Riichiro and Boichi comes to an end. The release of the final chapter is scheduled for March 6, 2022 on the digital platform MangaPlus and March 7 in the Japanese magazine Shonen Jump.
The grand finale of Dr. Stone is celebrated by the various artists of the publisher and among others we find one on the magazine Commentary by Kohei Horikoshi. The My Hero Academia author greeted colleagues and said their story was gripping from start to finish. He also thanked the two sensei for the work they had done.
The graduation of Dr. Stone is very closely related to that of Horikoshi’s Shonen manga. In the mangaka’s plans, My Hero Academia will end within a few months. The Sensei Horikoshi therefore observes every detail of Dr. Stones end to catch and capture every single detail uses it to his advantage to craft an even more mind-blowing epilogue.
