My hero academia is now one of the pillars of the new generation of Weekly Shonen Jump. Kohei Horikoshi actually managed to gain tremendous popularity thanks to imagery inspired by the superhero universe and characters with incredible uniqueness. But what would Deku, Bakugo and the others look like if they were Pokémon avatars?
The sphere of creativity is one of the most powerful weapons of the artists who have accompanied the work of Horikoshi Sensei for years with extraordinary illustrations. As the first spoilers of Chapter 299 of My Hero Academia pop up, one fan, one certain ricc_the_mantried to imagine what the protagonists would look like if they were Pokémon trainers.
The answer came thanks to two graphs, which you can admire at the bottom of the news, depicting the members of Class 1-A in the role of two-dimensional avatars as if they were Characters from the old games in the Pocket Monsters franchise. We can see Deku being accompanied by Thyplosion by Riolu and Bakugo, even when all of the protagonists are actually accompanied by the Pokémon that are closest to their reference quirks. But as for My Hero Academia, have you seen that bizarre Easter egg between an MMO character and an avatar?
