It’s been a long time since we’ve seen her in action because the world of heroes has not only changed thanks to the War of the Paranormal Liberation Front, and the episodes become just as chaotic through the first story arc of the Final Act of My Hero Academia.
Each of the young characters went through a ton of changes in a limited amount of time, and that goes for non-heroes too.
In previous chapters of My Hero Academia, we’ve seen Class 1-A counter their next plan of attack. formed All for one and Tomura Shigaraki (possibly with the traitor from My Hero Academia), but for that Izuku Midoriya and Tenya Iida need some work on their hero equipment.
This marked the long-awaited return of Mei Hatsume in the series, and while the cliffhanger of Chapter 338 of My Hero Academia showed us little of how much the support class member has changed since we last saw them, the latest chapter gives us a full look at it how much she has actually changed both physically and mentally.
Chapter 339 of the series unites Midoriya with Hatsume, and with that, fans could see it how she and the support class workers are doing who help the heroes as best they can. While we are exhibiting some of his new creations and gear, we see that he has decided to give up his traditional look with the uniform as you can see in the pictures below.
But that’s not the only change we see in her, because while she’s sporting a new look on the outside, it shows a completely different mentality than the fans expected.
If initially not much has changed about her since Izuku and Tenya last met her, then let’s see how much she and the support class actually helps the heroes during the events of the Final Act. This new look brings with it a whole new mindset and work effort, and now it won’t be long before Hatsume shows what he’s really capable of.
