My Hero Academia has been one of the stars of Weekly Shonen Jump for years. After graduating from Naruto, the work took an important place in the world’s most famous manga magazine and has become a pillar of contemporary Japanese comics. Been running for six and a half years My Hero Academia is nearing its end.

In the course of time, the author had always informed the fans about the state of development of his story and gave the fans quite important signals with interviews and statements in the volumes. But now everything is official: My Hero Academia enters the final narrative arc at chapter 306. The story has indeed entered an unprecedented phase and the title of the final chapter, published in English and Spanish on MangaPlus on Sunday January 21st, is “The Final Act Begins”. In the English version the title was originally “Bogen”, but after a few hours it was changed to the word “Akt”, both written with the same Japanese Kanji.

A clear letter of intent from Kohei Horikoshi that will lead us to the conclusion of Izuku Midoriya’s heroic career in a few years’ time. Of course, this doesn’t mean that the manga ends with a few chapters: The road may still be long for Deku and his fans. Meanwhile, My Hero Academia 5 is one of the most anticipated anime of the next season.
