Mengo Yokoyari She is an artist of great depth, as evidenced by the excellent work on her masterpiece Scrap desire and with the newer Oshi no Ko, which he is working on with the author of Kaguya-sama: love is war. The designer has great respect for the work of her colleagues and rarely pays homage to them with wonderful works of art.
Recently, Yokoyari decided to celebrate the announcement of the new movie My Hero Academia by portraying two of the protagonists: the spirited Katsuki Bakugo and the charismatic Shoto Todoroki. As a Romcom writer, of course Yokoyari has an extremely sophisticated qualityand as you can see below, he paid special attention to the traits of the two characters. Bakugo is depicted posing and in profile while the son of the hero number one is depicted with his strength.
In the meantime, Oshi no Ko moves on quickly, with almost 30 chapters published from last spring until today. The work premiered and counted on April 26th 300,000 copies in circulation at the end of September. The numbers don’t match Kaguya-sama’s: love is war or scum, but the manga is built to last, and certainly the fame of the two authors will see the work break the million-copy wall soon.
Instead, my Hero Academia is preparing for the arrival of the fifth seasonand the fans are waiting for information about the new film. In Italy, the first of the three films is already available on Netflix, and the second, Heroes Rising, will arrive on December 24, 2020 on the same platform, also with Italian dubbing.
