An important saga for Kohei Horikoshi’s manga ended a few months ago. The effect, however, was to project My Hero Academia in the last section of the work. An important revelation that makes us understand how much Deku’s adventure is nearing its conclusion finally.
However, we still don’t know how long it will take for the manga to end. Even though we are in the last arch, there are still a few knots to be untied. However, with the release of My Hero Academia Volume 32 in Japan Horikoshi revealed what the original plans were for this final phase.
Originally, Horikoshi had thought of closing the last act in about 5 volumes, that’s about forty chapters and a little more. Originally, My Hero Academia could have ended in another 7 or 8 months. But now the author is not sure about this number, probably because he felt it was necessary to expand on some explanations or to give more space to other characters. However, despite what has been said, it is clear that My Hero Academia is really near the end and there may only be a few years left to release.
So My Hero Academia could end in 2023, taking into account the rhythms of the author. It will surely be an important close for Weekly Shonen Jump looking for a new replacement.
