The Traitor was finally revealed on the My Hero Academia pages, but that reveal was almost entirely followed by the even bigger reveal of the. overshadowed true face of Toru Hagakure, the invisible girl.
My Hero Academia 337 gave us a quick look at Toru’s face, but a fan tried to give us a clearer, more complete vision of one of the most anticipated moments in the manga. That says something, given all the revelations and cliffhangers we’ve seen in the last few chapters of the manga that are part of the‘Final act of the series.
Much like the many other UA Academy’s heroes, Toru Hagakures Macke may seem simple enough at first glance to just make her invisible, but the girl managed to exercise extensively until she could deflect the light, blinds the enemy from her.
In addition to this ability Hagakure has become Aoyama’s perfect partner, manages to control its marine laser beam and hurl it at enemies. That fact, of course, makes it the revelation that Aoyama has already worked with All For One for most of the series especially heartbreaking for Hagakurewhen his real face was revealed in a highly emotional scene.
Reddit user Luizhtx shared this perfect retelling of the defining moment when Hagakure’s real face was revealed, just as he was trying save Aoyama from the abyss he plunged into trying to meet Midoriya after revealing the truth to the latter. You can see the artwork at the bottom of the news.
It may be a long time before we can see this moment in the episodes of the anime adaptation of My Hero Academia, with season six being most likely will cover the battle between the heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front known as the “War Arc”..
Needless to say, like the source material, we hope the TV series can do this one of the most emotional moments in Kohei Horikoshi’s story. What do you think of this new version of Hagakure?
