With the story of the Todoroki tragedy, it’s time to turn the pages and focus on a new, highly anticipated story arc. However, before you jump headlong into the next saga, My Hero Academia Season 5 leads the viewer to discover the pasts of three aspiring heroes full of high hopes.

My Hero Academia 5×19 focuses on the characters from Eraserhead and Present Micwho are suddenly called to Tartarus, the maximum security prison where the worst villains in society are exiled, including All For One.

In this dark place they come brought by Kurogiri, Shigaraki’s right shoulder. However, Aizawa and Hizashi are not here to face an interrogation, but rather to find out the truth about the villain who is actually their old school friend Oboro Shirakumo, played by voice actor Kensho Ono.

While studying at Yuei High School, Aizawa and Hizashi were surrounded by another friend, Shirakumo. Happy and carefree, the boy dreamed of founding a hero agency together with his two inseparable classmates. However, life was not so kind to Shirakumo, who later died a bad accident.

His body was apparently recovered by the villains who used it to breathe life into a human first prototype from Nomu, exactly Kurogiri. The dark being remembers nothing of its past, but the words of Present Mic and Eraserhead have somehow destabilized its essence. Will he ever be able to return to himself?

We leave you to the great sketch by Kohei Horikoshi for the last episode of My Hero Academia and the key visual of the next saga of the 5th season.
