After an endless week of hiatus, My Hero Academia is finally back with the highly anticipated Chapter 319, leaving us – unfortunately – with an even bigger twist than it was two weeks ago. What’s the matter with Midoriya? And what is the goal of the 1-A students? Let’s find out together.
Chapter 319 begins in Yuei High, with the students gathered to discuss the Midoriya case. Deku dropped out of high school at night, leaving just one letter, confessing his association with All Might and calling himself a danger to all of his friends. All for One unleashed dozens of mercenaries in search of the owner of One for All, and Deku feared staying near the dormitory could endanger all students.
Bakugo, Todoroki, Iida and Uraraka take the initiative, criticize Deku’s selfish behavior and propose a plan to “save him from himself”. 1-A arranges a meeting with Endeavor at Director Nezu’s office, and after declaring hero number one that letting Midoriya act alone will only result in his death, he manages to get a GPS address. The location allows students to find Deku and save his life fighting Dictator in the final scene of chapter 318.
After the capture of the dictator and the rescue of the citizens, the nineteen students of 1-A can finally face Midoriyaslowly rising from the ground. After discovering that his companions have returned to help him, Deku only responds with “All right” and invites them to get away from him, but Bakugo provokes his friend by calling him a bad copy of All Might and tell him that He doesn’t see the smile of hero number one on his face. Deku ponders his friend’s words, but after standing up he replies that “the only thing you need to keep going is the smiles of the people he saved” and unleashes the power of One for All .
The protagonist is eager to continue the hunt for All for One e he orders his former comrades to get out of the way, but Bakugo, Iida and Uraraka are convinced that they can stop him and prepare for the fight. My Hero Academia 320 will debut on July 18th and will fight one of the most unexpected battles of all time: the vigilante Izuku Midoriya against the 1A class.
