My Hero Academia Chapter 315 is now available on MangaPlus and it shows a lot more than expected from recent spoilers. In addition to the return of a major villain and the final stage of the fight with Lady Nagant, the chapter in question offers a gigantic twist, and sheds light on how a One for All Quirk works.
Chapter 315 begins with a flashback. After escaping from Tartarus, Lady Nagant uses the quirk “Air Walk” given to her by All for One to fetch clothes for Chisaki, aka Overhaul, who has now been psychologically destroyed after being mutilated by Shigaraki Tomura. Chisaki promises Lady Nagant to help her hunt for Izuku Midoriyabut in return he promises to help him catch up with the old Shie Hassaikai guide, to whom he is still indebted.
Back to the present, Overhaul loses his temper and yells at Lady Nagant to quickly close the accounts. Deku notices the villain on the roof of a skyscraper and Lady Nagant realizes that she has to finish the matter as soon as possible. then a shot towards Chisaki. firing. The antagonist knows full well that a hero cannot allow a life to be lost and hopes that this way Deku will lose momentum and create an opening. Deku is now using Fa Jinthat we finally know how it works.
Fa Jin enables the user to save kinetic energy by repeating the same movements and releasing them all at once. In Chapter 313 of My Hero Academia, Deku uses Smokescreen to hide from Lady Nagant and beats her after she ricochets off several floors of a skyscraper. The protagonist repeats the same movements over and over to keep more and more energy in his legs, and as soon as Lady Nagant pulls the trigger, releases the kinetic energy contained in the left leg.
With Black Whip and the energy generated by Fa Jin’s release, Deku moves faster than the ball itself, move Chisaki out of the line of fire and use Black Whip again to fly through the air. At this point the protagonist uses the two whips as a catapult and unleashes the power of Fa Jin contained in the right leg rushing on Lady Nagant and hitting her with a Manchester Smash.
Deku smashes the girl’s right arm, who froze asks what kind of hero she’s fighting. Lady Nagant collapses and begins to regret her choices, but Deku saves her from certain death by catching her and declaring that he still sees good in her. In fact, the bullet aimed at Overhaul would never hit him, while the villain decided not to hit Deku from behind when they first met and opted for a warning shot.
The chapter ends with a big twist: When Deku and Lady Nagant fall, we see a flashback in which All for One claims to have included a small clause in its contract with the girl. In the event of failure, a second quirk would actually be activated, which the villain inserts into the sniper’s body. literally explode. Nagant thanks Deku and later the quirk activates and apparently kills her.
