We have seen Deku grow slowly over the years, with each struggle that has brought him closer and closer to mastery of the one for all. However, the recent events of My Hero Academia have revealed more secrets and potential in this quirk, the decades before the manga’s protagonist.

Now that the All for One is in Shigaraki’s hands, Deku must give everything to destroy it once and for all. After My Hero Academia 283, which blew fans away, it’s your turn My Hero Academia 284. The new chapter of Horikoshi’s work brings us back to exciting confrontation between Tomura Shigaraki and Izuku Midoriya.

The boy is still in the air as he releases the Black Whip’s power to focus on his enemy. Deku’s first attacks are hit meanwhile Bakugo looks on from below, almost helplesslyand also remembers some scenes from the past few months. Taking this step back, we are shown the protagonist’s training with Asui, Uraraka, and Sero to understand how to use the Blach Whip in the air, perhaps parallel to the Float.

In the meantime, Bakugo has an argument with All Might and here the enormous growth of the explosive boy is confirmed once again with one a maturity that seems to be reminiscent of Endeavor. Additionally, he recalls that All Might had concerns and negated the quirk of the fourth owner, causing fear of something negative and some more secrets that have not yet been revealed.

It then returns to the real-life events with the blonde reminding Endeavor to get back into action, and meanwhile, also warns Deku to be careful and back off. However, the protagonist of My Hero Academia refuses to considering that there is no one else who can stand up to Shigaraki.

Deku notices that Shigaraki’s regeneration is slowing as his wounds no longer heal as before and he continues to insist on attacks. His anger subsides with one more final blow, in which the boy decides to attack as hard as possible regardless of the consequences. My Hero Academia 285 will arrive next week.
