My Hero Academia has built a relationship between Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki from the beginning. The two met for the first time during the assault on the Yuei, continuing to fight against each other even if not in the first person. However, we may soon see them face off in the open field.
With chapter 270 of My Hero Academia, Kohei Horikoshi presented us with the awakening of Shigaraki, after a dreamlike situation where the antagonist managed to free himself from his past and fully embrace the legacy of All for One. In doing so, however, the mangaka also revealed the existence of some links. In particular, Deku, in the final page of the chapter, managed to perceive the arrival of the new All for One. It’s no secret that One for All is related precisely to the quirk used by the criminal villain.
Some users have also extrapolated some vignettes on the net to show how physically similar Shigaraki and Deku are. In the tweet that you can see at the bottom it seems to have a Deku in front of you with a disturbing look. In a parallel universe, the two could have walked their paths but in reversed roles.
