After a week of its market launch on the Japanese market, the first Blu-ray package of the animated adaptation of the light novels appears Mushoku Tensei: reincarnation without work ((Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu) reported a total of 4,385 copies sold.

This package was released in Japan on April 21st and contains episodes 1 through 5 of this adaptation. It's priced at 16,500 yen (about $ 158) and includes some perks like a 52-page booklet, part of the soundtrack, and the uncredit animated sequences.

Eventually, the animated adaptation aired its first half of eleven episodes during the 2021 winter season, and later aired the rest of the adaptation (episodes twelve to twenty-three) during the 2021 summer season. Production takes place through Tie studio, a study specially prepared for its development and international dissemination, is in the hands of Funimation.

Mushoku Tensei Synopsis: Unemployed Reincarnation

A 34-year-old NEET who saved a stranger in a traffic accident is reborn in a new world of magic under the name of the newborn Rudeus Greyrat. With knowledge, experience, and regrets from a previous life, Rudeus vows to live a full life and never to repeat his mistakes.

Endowed with tremendous magical power and the mentality of a grown man, Rudeus is now viewed as a potential genius by his new parents. Soon he will be trained by powerful warriors like his father, a swordsman, and a wizard named Roxy Migurdia. Despite his innocent appearance, Rudeus remains a perverted otaku who uses his vast knowledge to make women of his own whom he has never enjoyed in his previous life.
