A leak announced that the horror comedy manga was written and illustrated by Tomoki izumi, Mieruko-chan, will have an anime adaptation. The leak has not been confirmed, but the headline of the fifth compilation volume, slated for May 22 in Japan, may offer confirmation.

Izumi started publishing the manga through the magazine ComicWalker from the publisher Kadokawa The publisher released the third compiled volume in March 2020, followed by the fourth in September of the same year in Japan. As for the author, he has only published the manga so far Twins.

Synopsis of Mieruko-chan

Miko is a typical schoolgirl whose life is turned upside down when she suddenly sees hideous and hideous monsters.
