Summary for Mieruko-chan
Miko Yotsuya’s eyes water as she fixates on a single dot on her phone, ignoring another ghastly, hideous monster on her face, and forms the haunting words, “Can you see me?” So far, Miko has modestly enjoyed her high school years, where nightly horror shows were for entertainment only. But since one fateful day, she’s the only person aware of the invisible monsters walking free among humans.
Bravely, Miko makes a bold decision: under no circumstances will she acknowledge the presence of the hideous specters. Yet despite pretending they don’t exist, she can see them teasing those around them, especially her best friend, the energetic and charming Hana Yurikawa. To protect her from the monsters’ harassment, Miko tries her best to continue her school life and avoid all the annoying crises even if they scare her to tears.
