On the official Twitter account for the animated adaptation of the horror and comedy manga, written and illustrated by Tomoki izumi, Mieruko-chan, it has been confirmed that the premiere in Japan is planned for next October 3rd. Izumi started publishing the manga through the magazine ComicWalker from the publisher Kadokawa in November 2018. Summary of Mieruko-chan
Miko is a typical high school student whose life is turned upside down when she suddenly sees gruesome and terrifying monsters. Despite being utterly scared, Miko goes about her daily life, pretending not to notice the horrors that surround her. She has to endure fear to get herself and her friend Hana out of the way, even if that means facing the worst. Mixing comedy and horror, Mieruko-chan tells the story of a girl who tries to cope with the paranormal by being indifferent to him.
