A press release confirmed the production of an anime adaptation of the manga by Tadayoshi Kubo and Masafumi Nisida and illustrated by Kouta Sannomiya, Tesla note. The statement confirmed the previously leaked voice cast and production team, as well as the premiere planned for this year and the first promotional image of the project.

Kubo, Nishida, and Sannomiya started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in January 2021. The publisher will publish the first compilation volume on April 16 in Japan. This is one of the quickest customization decisions in the magazine’s history as the manga has only been serialized for three months.

  • Masafumi Nishida ((Re-Main, Tiger & Bunny, Uwabaki cook) is responsible for writing and monitoring the scripts.
  • POKlmari is responsible for the character design.
  • Kaoru Wada ((Eiyuu Gaiden Mozaicka, Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi, Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo) is responsible for composing the soundtrack.

Tesla Note Synopsis

“Mission T” is a secret operation to save the world from destruction. Botan Negoro, who was trained as a ninja at a young age and raised to be the best spy, teams up with another excellent spy, Kuruma. The aim is to restore the legacy of the ingenious inventor Nikola Tesla, the “Fragments of Tesla”. Can the two agents from other countries outwit who are also hunting these fragments?
