On the official website of the multimedia project of Level 5, Megaton-kyuu Musashi, a new series of promotional videos has been released for both the animated adaptation and the video game. The site also confirmed the spokespersons and production team for the anime, which will premiere on October 1, while the video game has dated its launch in Japan on November 11.
The multimedia project includes the anime adaptation, a cooperative action role-playing video game (planned release on console). Nintendo switch, Playstation 4 and smartphones), a collaboration with the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha, a line of toys from Bandai toys and a spin-off anime called After school. The company has announced this project since 2016, but like all of its current projects, it has been postponed for several years.

- Toshihiko Kuriaki Concept art is credited while Kenichirou saigou is responsible for composing the soundtrack.

Megaton-kyuu Musashi synopsis
The story takes place after ninety percent of humanity has disappeared due to an invasion. The survivors live in an animal shelter where their lives are monitored and memories of the invasion are erased. Three teenagers from the shelter are selected to control three machines that combine to create the legendary robot 2Musashi, made from a material known as “megatronium alloy”.
