On the cover of this year’s 10th issue of the magazine Monthly comic alive from the publisher KadokawaIt turned out that the second season of the anime adaptation of the light novels by Tsutomu Satou and illustrated by Kana ishida, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, has dated its premiere for next October 3rd.
The series’ premiere was originally scheduled for July this year but has been postponed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on production. Officially titled as Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Raihousha henIn this second season, the arc of the same name is adapted from the original light novel series, which includes volumes 9 to 11.
For his part, Satou started publishing the novels on the site Shousetsuka ni Narou in October 2008 and then began publishing it on paper with illustrations by Kana Ishida through the publishing label Dengeki Bunko in July 2011. Upon completion, the author will begin publishing the follow-up novels Zoku Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Meijiang Company in October.

Synopsis of Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
“Magic” is nothing out of legends or fairy tales. It’s been a real technology for almost a century. Education in different countries of the world is involved in the development of “magicians”. Shiba Tatsuya is an honorable student with no magical power who is attending high school, a magical high school along with his younger sister who happens to be the best among the freshman students. What will happen to Shiba? How will he live his school life where he is one of the many non-magical users considered trash by others?
