On the official site for the animated adaptation of written light novels Hitoma Iruma and illustrated by No N., Adachi to Shimamura ((Adachi and Shimamura) details and covers for the third compiled Blu-ray / DVD volume of the project were revealed.
This volume will be released in Japan on February 3, 2021 and contains episodes 7 through 9 of this series. The Blu-ray version costs 8,800 yen ($ 84) while the DVD version costs 7,800 yen ($ 74). The package includes an illustration brochure and a short novel.
The series premiered on October 9th in Japan and confirmed with a total of twelve episodes. On the other hand, Iruma and Non started publishing the light novels through the publishing label Dengeki Bunko from the publisher Kadokawa in March 2013.
Production team
- Satoshi Kuwabara ((Gotoubun no Hanayome, black jack, Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Ω) is responsible for directing the anime in the studios Tezuka Productions.
- Keiichiro ochi ((Gotoubun no Hanayome, Hinamatsuri, Machikado Mazoku) is responsible for writing and monitoring the scripts.
- Shizue Kaneko ((Hana wa Saku, Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu, Kanojo ga flag wo Oraretara) is responsible for the character design.
Synopsis from Adachi to Shimamura
Adachi and Shimamura, two girls who go to the same school and are inseparable friends. Whether you’re playing tennis, chatting about your favorite TV shows, or just relaxing, you’re always together. When Adachi realizes that she has a physical attraction to Shimamura, will her entire relationship change, will it be for better or for worse?
