Nominees for the sixth edition of the awards have been announced Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishou. Out of 4,768 participating works, a total of 50 nominations have been selected, of which the following works stand out.

- Itsuwari no Freya, written and illustrated by Keiko Ishihara.
- Sasayaku you ni Koi wo Utau, written and illustrated by Eku Takeshima.
- Dead Mount Death Play, written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shinta Fujimoto.
- Mashle: Magic and Muscles, written and illustrated by Hajime Komoto.
- Mitama SecuREIty, written and illustrated by Tsurun Hatomune.
- Yubisaki to Renren, written and illustrated by Suu Morishita.
- Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen, written and illustrated by Hitsuji Gondaira.
Category: Digital manga
Readers can vote for their favorite series with a deadline of July 3. Prizes include two categories, one for print series and one for all-digital series, and readers can vote for up to three series in each category. The award is organized by the manga magazine Da Vinci from the publisher Kadokawa, in collaboration with the streaming platform, Niconico.
In 2018, the winners of the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishou Awards were Raise wa Tanin ga Ii, by Asuka Konishi and Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi, by Shiro Manta. Moreover, last year the winners were Kusuriya no Hitorigoto in the printed category and Spy x Family in the digitial category.
