The Story So Far
Japan's terrorist threats dwindle, thanks to Direct Attack (DA). This syndicate trains orphaned girls as assassins, under the "Lycoris" program. Among them, Takina Inoue stands out - a paragon of will and perfection. Yet, a hostage crisis tests her mettle, leading to a reassignment outside DA. She's sent to LycoReco, a café in disguise, far from the world she knows.
Her new partner, Chisato Nishikigi, the famed Lycoris prodigy, is her polar opposite. Chisato's casual approach to their deadly vocation, opting to disarm rather than destroy, leaves Takina reeling. As Takina strives to return to DA, Chisato is determined to show her there's more to life than the edge of a knife.
