On the official page for the adult animated manga adaptation Kuro Gal ni Natta Kara Shinyuu after Yattemita ((I became a kuro gyaru so I fucked my best friend) two promotional videos were released for the project. Both videos present the musical theme "Hot Summer" and are performed by Shion Chihara, but the first is told by Makoto Furukawa and the second for Kazutomi Yamamoto.

The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 4th. The broadcast will have a "Premium Edition" with explicit scenes broadcast through the portal ComicFesta Animein addition to maintaining the same cast. The "Television Edition" will be censored and broadcast on the channel Tokyo MX. Finally, the manga is written and illustrated by Yupopo Orishimaand is published by the magazine Zettai Ryouiki R! from the publisher Screamo since October 2019.
