The only one who always notices him and constantly teases him is his beautiful and admired classmate Kubo. Everyone can become something special for someone, even if that feeling might not be love. A character who always stays in the background finally emerges in this sweet, almost romantic comedy.

The anime is currently in production Animation studio PINE JAM with Kazuomi Koga (former director of both anime seasons of Rent-A-Girlfriedn) as director. Yuya Takahashi is credited as supervising and writing the series' scripts, while Yoshiko Saito created the character designs for the animation.

The manga by Nene Yukimori has started Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump Magazine in October 2019. Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible is available to read on Manga Plus.
