Akira Toriyama’s franchise is ready to welcome a new film project entitled Dragon Ball Super: Superherowhich promises to be ambitious and willing to revive some famous characters who have fallen to the sidelines of the narrative as the storyline progresses.
The countdown to the Japanese release of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is slowly running out. Of course there are still a few months left on the big screen, but in the studio TOEI animation has already stated that Gohan will play a key role in the film.
Recently ranked #1 in the DB space in this regard, Akio IyokuHe, who among other things is the producer of all the latest projects related to the franchise, said a few words about the feature film, which is expected to debut on April 22nd: “It’s been almost 40 years since the series began, but never has there been a project with so much love. We use a different approach to express the artistic realm. This time the story focuses on Gohan and Piccolo, student and teacher. So far everyone has actually done nothing, except to have gotten stronger and stronger. Therefore the earth will be the stage. Our approach to action should answer the question: “How will earthlings deal with this threat”? The film’s title was decided when the plot was completed. There was also some debate as to whether “Super” should be included in the title, but in the end we just wanted to point out that “everyone’s a hero”. It may sound a bit cliche, but we came to this conclusion.β
