Kadokawa recently released a teaser trailer for Konosuba: A blast on this wonderful world!, the spin-off based on the popular light novel series. Here are the first details on the anime series in production at Studio Drive.
Taken by Novels written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, Konosuba: A blast on this wonderful world! follows the stories of the protagonists Megumin and his Crimson Magic clan and Yunuyun. The two characters are voiced by Rie Takahashi and Aki Toyosaki, respectively.
The same staff from the third season of the Konosuba anime will be working on this spin-off. Thus, Takaomi Kanasaki will be the main director of the anime driving studio, which takes over the production of the series from the hands of Studio DEEN. Yujiro Abe will direct the series, while Makoto Uezu and Koichi Kikuta will be in charge of composition and character design.
