The Japanese portal Mantan network reported that the sixth episode of the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen, issued on November 21 in Fuji TV, achieved a viewing rate of 6.6 percent in the Kanto Area, the world’s most populous metropolitan region. This is the first increase in TV audience ratings in the series after four consecutive weeks of decline.
the first episode had an audience rating of 10.0 percent, followed by second with a 8.0 percent, the Third with a 7.0 percent, the room with the 6.4 percent, and finally the fifth with a 5.7 percent. Previously, fans assured that the index would continue to decline as this series only repeats the events of the feature film, although Akaza’s appearance in episode six apparently exceeded expectations.
On the other hand, the second season project of the anime adaptation is already being broadcast and is listed (still unofficially, but according to distribution platforms) with a total of eighteen episodes, seven of which Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen and eleven before Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen. The project has aired since last October 10th, starting with the first series while Crispy roll and Funimation take care of their distribution.
