The story takes place on an isolated, rural and peaceful island in the Seto Inland Sea called Torishirojima, which has about 2,000 inhabitants. The protagonist is Hairi Takahara, a young man who does not live on the island. Hairi grew up in an urban setting, but after a terrible incident, he uses his grandmother’s death as an excuse to come to the island to take over the sale of her property. There he meets four girls who are the focus of the story.
One of these girls is Shiroha Naruse, who forgot about her summer vacation; Ao Sorakado, who follows up the legends of the island; Kamome Kushima, a high class girl looking for a pirate ship; and Tsumugi Wunders, a younger girl who is in search of herself.
