Announced in early March, the new film by Dragonball Super it’s still full of secrets. Who will be the next antagonist and what vicissitudes must the Z Warriors overcome? According to some theories, the next film should be about time travel, one of the most interesting in Toriyama’s work.
Although there is an aura of mystery surrounding this project, it is possible, by capturing some of the details that came up in the authors’ comments, to bring some fairly plausible hypotheses to life. According to Toriyama, the new film will be good different from Broly and it won’t focus on power and energy. Hence, hypothetically, Goku and Vegeta shouldn’t meet a character stronger than the legendary Super Saiyan, let alone a rival capable of equalizing their current level of combat.
So what should this film be based on? Just like during the Cell Saga and Goku Black’s, the film could be the Focus on time travelwho have favourited exploring the past, present, and future of the Z Warriors.
Although it was forbidden by the gods, the protagonists could somehow travel through time, and maybe into first days of Goku’s adventure, lesser known part of Toriyama’s work.
In addition to the past, however, it could look out also in the future, especially the one Mirai Trunks comes from. In this way, Goku and his companions were finally able to bring peace and serenity to a timeline ravaged by the androids and Zamasu.
But not only. This new movie could flash back through the Dragon Ball Z highlights, which gives new generations the opportunity to experience the Goku epic in a more contemporary light.
