Kaguya-sama: Love is War is an incredibly popular manga in Europe, and it seems that it is so loved in Spain that it is even quoted from the official KFC Twitter profile. In fact, the fast food chain recently honored the work with a great picture, and moments ago the response came from the anime’s Twitter profile.

In case you’re not up to date, the official Twitter profile of KFC Spain suddenly added a picture of Colonel Harland Sanders, the chain’s founder, on June 11th. accompanied by the charismatic Chika Fujiwara. The illustration went around the world and garnered hundreds of thousands of likes, and the author of Kaguya-sama: Love is War even responded with his love of fast food.

A few hours ago, the anime’s Twitter profile decided to return the favor by posting a picture with a box of KFC products, next to a chibi figure of the student council secretary. Another message cementing one of the most sudden and unlikely collaborations of 2021.

In addition to his love of KFC, writer Aka Akasaka recently revealed that Kaguya-sama: Love is War is in the pipeline, and that the latest saga won’t be long. As for the anime, however, it has been confirmed that Season 3 will be released in 2022.
