2023 will see the arrival of many different souls. There will be the long-term ones, the newbies, the ones who will come back with a second or third season, all poised to land on Japanese TV and get recognition. But there are also such anime that will debut directly on streaming platforms, such as: Junji Ito Maniac from Netflix.

Netflix has announced the adaptation of the most macabre stories of the mangaka Junji Ito, one of the best known in Japan for the horror genre. Its standalone volumes have become the epicenter of Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tale of the Macabre, due out on the platform in January 2023. The date to mark on the calendar is January 19, but Netflix has already shared a video that contains it the opening of Junji Ito Maniac that a short trailer.

MADKID’s song “Paranoid” accompanies a psychedelic video featuring a nude woman alternating between natural and red tones, with her face having a horror look proposed in various colors along with psychedelic backgrounds. There is also one at the end of the video available above Clip suggested by Junji Ito Maniac like it’s an old TV show with image-distorting noises typical of horror videos.
