Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the fall season's most popular animes, and passion and attention to detail are evident in every detail of Studio MAPPA's work, including the initials. We've talked a lot about the ending theme of the anime over the past few weeks, but the opening, composed by the talented EVE, deserves praise from fans too.
In particular, many of you may not have noticed an interesting quote in the opening themeand more precisely in the last few seconds, just before the start of the episode. One of the newest pictures shows the protagonists discussing each other during a picnic. This seems to be a clear reference to the French painter's masterpiece "Breakfast on the Grass". Claude Monet.
As you can see by opening the images below, The position of the figures is absolutely identical to that of the protagonists in Monet's painting, a tribute very few will have noticed.
Jujutsu Kaisen will be with us until March 2021, when the twenty-fourth and final episode of the first season airs. In the meantime, the manga continues uninterrupted and reached an unbelievable total circulation of 12 million copies a few days ago.
What do you think about it? Did you notice the quote? Let us know with a comment! In the meantime, we'll leave you with our preview of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime.
