To celebrate this important milestone, NHK has released the latest data on the number of copies in circulation for the entire Araki-signed series. As reported in the article below, there are currently approx. 120 million volumes about the story of Jonathan, Joseph, Jotaro and all the other eccentric protagonists who marked the generation transition from one part of the saga to another.
While such a number may seem ridiculous compared to ONE PIECE’s extraordinary results, come on newest demon slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and My Hero Academia, it is interesting to note that Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is a 35-year-old work in which it has changed several times, both from a narrative point of view, but above all from a narrative point of view a stylistic perspective that has been innovated and distorted several times by Araki himself.
