The announcements of Lucca Changes, the new edition of Lucca Comics & Games and a few hours ago by the Milan publisher continue J-POP has announced all the publications that will expand its catalog. All 24 works are listed below with their publication date and some information.
- The roses of Versailles – Lady Oscar Collectionby Ryoko Ikeda. A prestigious edition, consisting of 5 volumes of 350 pages each, in a collection box. Publication planned for December 2020.
- ZOMBIE 100 by Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata, a series that already started in the rising sun and will reach Italian comics in spring 2021.
- NINE by Tsutomu Takahashi, a series that recently reached its sixth volume in Japan, which we have planned for the summer of 2021.
- Violence Action, a series by Shin Sawada with drawings by Renji Asai currently in progress and set to debut in Italy next spring.
- Game of Familia by Mikoto Yamaguci and DP, already established in the industry with 5 volumes. The release of the latest work by the author of Dead Tube is planned for spring 2021.
Among other things, numerous announcements were made that we will cover later 5 works of the god of Manga, the master Osamu Tezuka::
- Triton, unpublished series in Italy, consisting of 2 volumes, planned between winter 2020 and early 2021.
- Prime Rose, also consisting of 2 volumes, will be published between 2020 and 2021.
- Brave Dan, a single band that will hit shelves in spring 2021.
- Vampires, a single band focused on horror and action, is slated for next spring
- Black jack, historical work by Tezuka announced back in 2019 but postponed due to the pandemic that will light up again in the 15 volumes of the new J-POP edition.
Then we find mini-series or unique volumes by new authors and already established masters:
- Number 5 by Taiyo Matsumoto, a science fiction work consisting of 2 volumes, will be published in spring 2021
- Queen Emeraldas, by Leiji Matsumoto, the new series of Captain Harlock’s father will appear in 4 volumes in 2021.
- Sex & Fury, a single volume signed by Bonten Taro, is planned for 2021.
- Shounen no na wa Gilbert by Keiko Takemiya, a novel that tells the experience and life of a manga artist in the 70s from 2021.
- Nora to Zasso by Keigo Shinzo, a 4-volume box that will be released in spring 2021.
- My Broken Mariko by Waka Hirako, a single volume that could be out in December 2020.
- Parasite in Love, a 3-volume box of the new work by Yuuki Hiotate and Sugaru Miaki, is expected between 2020 and 2021.
- Rent-A-Girlfriend from Reiji Miyajima, Series currently in progress and now in volume 17, arriving in Italy before the end of the year.
- Metamorphose No Engawa, box of 5 volumes of the work by Kaori Tsurutani, will be released in spring 2021.
- A lotus flower in the mud, a single ribbon of Tamekou arriving between December 2020 and January 2021.
- Jealousy, series signed by Scarlet Beriko that will hit our shelves next spring.
- Red Theater by Chise Ogawa, single band scheduled for the spring months.
- Shangri-La no Tori, with currently 2 volumes published, Ranmaru Zariya’s work will come to us in the spring.
- MADK by Ryo Suzuri is planned again for next spring.
Two works by Hana Hasumi were featured as the latest announcements, the first of an ongoing series entitled Pendulum: Jujin Omegaverseand the second is a single band, Rest: Kemonohito Omegaverse, both scheduled for next spring, and we’re leaving them up to any Star Comics announcements made during the Lucca changes.
