A press release reports that the light novels were written by tenichi and illustrated by Suzunosuke, The most heretical final boss queen: from villain to savior (Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu), will have an anime adaptation. The press release revealed the production details and confirms that it is scheduled to premiere in July 2023 in Japan.

Tenichi and Suzunosuke started publishing the light novels via the imprint ichijinsha in June 2019. In addition, a manga adaptation by Bunko Matsuura will be published via the service Zero Sum Online since March 2020 by the same publisher.
