On the official site for the webtoon’s anime adaptation written by milka and illustrated by whale, Kanojo ga Koushakutei ni Itta Riyuu (The reason Raeliana ended up in the Duke’s mansion) the first promotional video of the project was released. The video confirms that the premiere is planned for April 2023and reveals the project’s voice actors and production team.
The webtoon is in fact an adaptation of the novel originally published on the site Tappytoon. whale publication of the work began via the digital service Fross comic from the publisher Kadokawawith his first compiled volume released in November 2019.

Summary for Kanojo ga Koushakutei ni Itta Riyuu
After a mysterious death, Park Eunha enters the world of a novel. She is resurrected as a supporting character, Raeliana McMillan, who is about to be poisoned to death by her own fiancé. To break up with her dangerous fiancé, she offers the novel’s male lead, Noah Wynknight, a secret deal, but ends up having affairs with other men who aren’t part of the plan. Noah Wynknight, of inescapable but suspicious charm; the honest Justin Shamal, who only loves one person; or Adam Taylor, whom she has a soft spot for every time she sees him, for no reason. Will Raeliana emerge from this crisis successfully and create a new ending for herself? Who will be the one to join Raeliana in her new ending?
