On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Hotondo Shindeiru, Isekai Ojisan (Uncle from another world) the second promotional video was unveiled. The video confirmed that the series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 6, and that The Netflix platform will handle global distribution on a date to be confirmed.
The announcement also revealed new speakers, including:
- Kenichi Suzumura like Edger.
- Nobuhiko Okamoto like Raiga.
- Hisako Kanemoto like Sawae.
For his part Hotondo Shindeiru Publish the manga through the service comic walker from the publisher Kadokawa since June 2018 after publishing it independently for a while Twitter Y pixiv. The publisher released the fifth anthology in October 2020, followed by the sixth in June 2021 in Japan. The literary franchise has surpassed 1.5 million copies in circulation.

Summary by Isekai Ojisan
Fall 2017. Nephew Takafumi went to the hospital to visit his uncle who had just woken up from a seventeen year coma. However, it seems that he has lost his mind as he claims that during all this time he has been in another world called “Great Bahamar” and even seems to speak a foreign language. But everything changes when his uncle, an ordinary human, shows him that he has learned to use magic in the other world. Realizing that the magic his uncle is using is absolutely real, Takafumi suggests that he use his skills to become a successful YouTuber. Takafumi and his uncle now take care of him and begin to embrace the streaming life while his uncle tells him about his life in the other world from time to time.
