There has been a lot of talk in recent months about a potential Naruto anime remake. That rumor turned out to be a hole in the water, however, with Jump Festa 2023 seemingly closing matters. But what if something really was in the works? Pierrot Studio?

While all the announcement of the expected Naruto remakeBoruto's new story arcs were unveiled at Jump Festa 2023. However, it seems there is still something brewing in the pot, as the words of Naruto and Sasuke's voice actors implied in a recent interview.

To celebrate the final days of the "NARUTO THE GALLERY" exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary of Naruto, Junko Takeuchi and Noriyaki Sugiyama I had an interesting interview that gives hope to the fans.

The two original voices of Naruto and Sasuke met to talk about their work and experiences during the production of the anime. What stood out, however, was a certain part of the chat where the two explain that the bond from the original Team 7 is still strong and both would love to produce one Anime movie set in the time when Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura were genin.

Takeuchi stated that he would like to make one Film that goes back to the story when Naruto was a child, rather than one in which he is an adult, as in Boruto. In line with Naruto's voice actor is Sugiyama. Sasuke's voice actor said that there are usually many side stories that are shortened so as not to obscure the main plot. In conversation with Masashi Kishimoto, he wants to know if there are cut parts in Naruto and if you can use them as material for movies. He, too, would prefer a special episode that tells a story from the past, like le Story of the three Sannin of Konoha, Jiraya, Tsunade and Orochimaru. And what do you think of these statements? Pierrot will have Naruto and Sasuke's voice actors pay for the production of one Movie focused on the Genin of Naruto's Team 7?
