Among the many innovations announced for the anime world this year, nobody would have expected a return to the feudal period and Japanese mythology that Rumiko Takahashi told in the fantastic world of Inuyasha . Although the author has not intervened in the writing of the series, she has announced the sequel to Yashahime.
With the subtitle Princess Half Demon, it is clear that the protagonists of the new project will be the daughters of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru or rather Moroha and their cousins Towa and Setsuna. Since the production studio continues to show us small details every week, like the Moroha Katana design, the first pictures directly from the anime.
As you can see in the post shared at the end of @RanobeSugoi's news on Twitter, these are sequences in which we see the protagonists grappling with an opponent. The special symbol on Moroha's sword Kurimakaru is striking, which lights up immediately after the fight. Towa and Setsuna seem to maintain a colder and more distant approach than Moroha, and we couldn't expect anything else from Sesshoumaru's daughters.
As the announcement at the end of the video reminds Yashahime: Princess Half Demon will debut in the fall, and in the meantime, we'll leave you with Inuyasha's 5 best moments.
