I Picked Up a Rich Girl and Teach Her to Be Naughty already has a trailer

Written on the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels by Sametarou Fukada and illustrated by Sakura Miwabe, I picked up a rich girl whose engagement was annulled and taught her to be naughty (Konyaku Haki sareta Reijou wo Hirotta Ore ga, Ikenai Koto wo Oshiekomu) the project’s first promotional video was unveiled. The video confirms the production details and confirms that the season of will premiere Autumn-2023 (October-December) in Japan.

Fukada began publishing the novels through the independent service Shoutsuka ni Narou in August 2019, where it has been published so far. The editorial office Shufu to Seikatsusha publishes light novels on paper with illustrations by Sakura Miwabe since March 2020, while a manga adaptation of Ichiho Katsura will be published in the service Double up! since 2020.

Synopsis for I picked up a rich girl whose engagement was called off and taught her to be naughty

The novels focus on Allen, a stay-at-home wizard living deep in the woods who comes across a missing girl named Charlotte. She explains that she fled her hometown when her engagement was called off after being falsely accused of a crime. Thinking back to his own youth when he was betrayed and driven out of a group of adventurers, Allen decides to help the girl and teach her naughty things… like enjoying food, playing games and staying up all night .
