Kyoto Animation Studio is one of the most famous in the world. In fact, the company was appreciated for the high quality standard of its productions, some of which are now integral parts of Japanese animated images, such as Hyouka. And this title will soon enjoy a surprise.
Precisely today, Hyouka turns 10 since the end of the first distribution of the television series on Japanese soil, an event that has not let go of the studio to work on the franchise again. The first season of the anime consisted of 22 episodes, an implementation that was difficult to continue due to the irregular continuation of the light novel of the same name.
In fact, the author has been working on the seventh volume of the novel since 2018, still without a publication date. Anyway, to celebrate the 10th anniversary the tv series, KyoAni announced a new project for the saga.
Season 1 covered events up to the fourth issue, so there’s enough material for a 12-episode season or a feature film.
