Summary of Aragne no Mushikago

Life could be better for shy and anxious college student Rin. The apartment she has rented is not the sunny palace that the rental advertisements suggest. The condominium is ramshackle, dingy and haunted by troubled souls lurking in dark corners. Terrible crimes are happening in the area. And a smiling stranger makes his unsettling presence known. Aside from all of that, Rin realizes that something even more sinister is manifesting, something at the accursed intersection of mythology, monstrosity, and medical science. Determined to find out more, Rin visits the library, where she meets a young clerk who sympathizes with her. But what she finds out doesn’t leave her alone.
