Summary of Gokushufudou
“Tatsu the Immortal,” the legendary yakuza who single-handedly defeated a rival gang with a lead pipe, is a name known for instilling fear in both the toughest cops and the most dangerous criminals. Shortly after his sudden disappearance, he reappears with a slight career change. Now equipped with an apron, Tatsu has renounced violence and is trying to make an honest living as a housewife.
As she adjusts to everyday household chores, Tatsu discovers that life as a home mom comes with its own set of challenges, from the battlefield known as the grocery store to kitchen breakdowns. Although he lives in peace, misunderstandings seem to follow him from left to right. Gokushufudou follows the daily life of the comically serious ex-yakuza who leaves his previous dangerous life behind to become a stay-at-home man.
