The studies Toei Animation They launched an official site to announce that an anime adaptation of the children’s light novels written by Reiko Hiroshima and illustrated by Jyajya, Fushigi Dakashiya Zenitendou.

The first volume of light novels was released in May 2013, and the publisher Kaiseisha published the thirteenth volume on April 16. The work also inspires a short film titled Fushigi Dakashiya Zenitendou: Tsutai Yaki, which is part of the omnibus film Toei Manga Matsuri. This film was scheduled to be released in theaters in Japan on April 24, but this was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Synopsis of Fushigi Dakashiya Zenitendou

The story of the novels focuses on the mysterious “Zenitendou” candy and snack shop, which only those lucky enough can find. The owner of this store is a woman named Beniko, who also knows how to recommend the perfect sweet to heal a person’s physical and mental problems.

However, this may not work if the person tries to use them incorrectly. That is why, the fact that the Beniko sweets bring fortune or curse those who receive them, does not depend on it.
