The platform Funimation confirmed through its official media that it will add the series based on the manga written and illustrated by Hajime isayama, Shingeki no Kyojin (also known as attack on Titan) to its catalog in Mexico and Brazil, in its original language and with synchronization. The platform will be introduced in the countries mentioned in autumn.

Isayama started publishing the manga in the magazine Bessatsu Shonen magazine from the publisher Kodansha The publisher released the thirty-first compilation volume on April 9 and will publish the thirty-second on September 9.

The piece inspired a three-season anime adaptation. The first season with 25 episodes was produced by Wit studio In collaboration with Production I.G., Headed by Tetsurou araki and scripts written by Yasuko Kobayashi (who would stay in that role for the three seasons) and released in April 2013.

The twelve-episode second season premiered in April 2017 with the same production team, with the exception of Masashi Koizuka who would be the director now. A third season followed with 22 episodes, which was divided into two arcs. The first of twelve episodes premiered in October 2018 and the second of ten episodes in April 2019. The fourth season should have its premiere in the season. Fall of that year and made a complete change to the production team, highlighting the departure of Wit Studio and entry into the studios MAPPA.

Shingeki no Kyojin Synopsis

A century ago humans were threatened with extinction when an unbeatable and terrible enemy appeared: the titans, gigantic monsters that devoured much of humanity and forced the few survivors to lock themselves behind high walls. One fateful day, however, humanity remembers its fate when a gigantic 60-meter titan appears in front of the first row of walls, protecting people from their most formidable enemy. So Eren, Mikasa and Armin lose their home and all hope, while our protagonist takes an oath: His life goal will be to destroy all titans. Thus begins a story of survival and war in which its characters must solve the mystery behind the existence of these terrible beings.
